Join us at the Spina Bifida Association of Georgia's (SBAGA's) Walk-N-Roll 2018. The SBAGA Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida will be held in White, Georgia at Sosebee Cycling Park. Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida is a family friendly, non-competitive scenic one mile walk, filled with family activities and a resource fair that raises awareness about Spina Bifida and celebrates the accomplishments of the approximately 177,000 Americans living with the challenges it brings. Proceeds from this event are used to support local programs and services such as outreach at Judson Hawk Clinic for Children and the NICU, providing free parking for families at Children's Healthcare at Scottish Rite when visiting clinic, providing scholarships through Sara's Gift program for families to attend educational conferences, offering education outside of the Atlanta area to caregivers, and supporting many other programs and partnerships that advance our mission to promote prevention of Spina Bifida and enhance the lives of all affected.
The name “Walk-N-Roll” was selected because it embodies a sense of inclusiveness and invokes the sense of empowerment which the Spina Bifida Community embraces in all that it does. A belief in a better tomorrow is our vision and the activities that take place during these events represent the progress made towards realizing that goal.
