Join the Camp Dream Foundation for its Bi-Annual Camp Dream Clean-Up in Warm Springs, GA. The more willing participants we have, the quicker we can restore the Camp Dream site to beauty and functionality for our kids in time for this year's summer camping sessions. Saturday Clean-Up Time: 8:30am-4:30pm
Clean-up planned activities:
- Cleaning boat house and items in boat house
- Cleaning boats
- Cleaning trails up to 5ft off trail
- Cleaning up damaged trees around activity areas
- Painting inside of cabins
- Cleaning porches
- Cleaning pavilion floor
- Cleaning areas around camp – fountain, climbing wall, brick area, etc
- Creating and hanging carpenter bee traps for cabins, boat house, pool house and cafeteria.
- Painting in cabins
Supplies needed:
- 12 -Straight edge shovels
- 12 - pointed shovels
- 12 - Drop clothes
- Leaf blowers
- Paper towels
- Window cleaner
- Step Ladders 6 ft and 8 ft
- Extension Ladders 16 and 20 ft
- Brooms
- Scrub brushes
- Outside work Gloves
- Painting gloves
- Cleaning gloves
- 12 leaf Rakes
- 12 garden rakes
- 4 Chain saws
- 8 loppers
- 4 wheel barrels/ wagons/ carts
- Gas cans with gas
- Extension cords – 100ft
- Rollers
- Paint brushes
- Empty paint cans (work buckets)
- Pressure washer
The lodge will be available for anyone that wants to come down Friday and stay til Sunday morning. Food will be provided for Saturday work day. Please email info@campdreamga.org to RSVP.
