Join us at this year's Autism Speaks Walk in partnership with Marcus Autism Center. The Camp Dream Team will be providing kids activities at their annual walk in Atlanta while spreading the word about Camp Dream and its summer camping sessions.
Walk Now for Autism Speaks, the nation's largest grassroots autism walk program, is Autism Speaks' signature fundraising and awareness event, taking place in communities across the United States. Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum and local businesses and companies that employ those on the spectrum, this successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
The Walk now For Autism Speaks Georgia walk is 1.5 miles with low grade hills on a closed, coned course. This walk is at your own pace and can be completed as quickly or as slowly as you feel comfortable. Walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs are all welcome. We kindly ask that you leave your pets at home unless they are service dogs.
Register as a Volunteer to help us provide children's activities and host a resource table.
